Singapore confirmed its participation in the Shanghai World Expo 2010 with the signing of an agreement earlier this week by the Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore.
The World Expo, expected to attract 70 million visitors, will run from 1 May to 31 October 2010 in Shanghai. It is renowned as a global arena for the exchange of ideas and discussions of development of the world economy, culture, science, technology.
